Rosalía, entre las nominaciones a los Grammy 2020
Rosalía suma dos nominaciones para los premios Grammy 2020 gracias a su álbum 'El Mal Querer'. Lizzo, con ocho, y Billie Eilish y Lil Nas X con seis, son los artistas que acumulan más candidaturas. El resultado se conocerá el 26 de enero.
Pasa un poco como cuando Fernando Alonso hizo que todos nos interesáramos por la Fórmula 1: Rosalía ha propiciado una mayor atención por los Grammy, los premios más importantes de la industria musical planetaria. Su edición 2020, cuya ceremonia de entrega se llevará a cabo el 26 de enero en el Staples Center de Los Ángeles, abarca el periodo del 1 de octubre de 2018 al 30 de septiembre de 2019. Por tanto, sí, El Mal Querer ha sido considerado y, de hecho, ha propiciado dos nominaciones para la artista catalana: a mejor artista revelación y a mejor álbum latino de rock, urban o música alternativa, convirtiéndola así en la primera artista nominada por un disco completamente en castellano.
Por lo que atañe al resto, cabe destacar que Lizzo acumula ocho nominaciones y tanto Billie Eilish como Lil Nas X, seis cada unx. Lxs tres artistas son candidatos al mejor álbum del año, donde compiten también Bon Iver, Vampire Weekend, Lana Del Rey, Ariana Grande y H.E.R.. Justin Vernon suma con Bon Iver un total de tres nominaciones, incluyendo la de mejor álbum de música alternativa, donde se las verá con Big Thief (por U.F.O.F.), James Blake, Vampire Weekend y con Thom Yorke.
